As the US transitions from winter to spring, the Cascading Waterfall Wrap is a great transitional accessory. Some days are warm and some days are chilly, and this wrap will create a stylish look while keeping you comfortable.
This design flexed all of my math skills, as it involves a repeat that works well flat, and could probably be translated into the round, but creating a V-shape was a doozy ? Therefore, stitch counts are included in the pattern to help you out.
The original Cascading Waterfall Wrap uses Red Heart Super Saver Stripes to create a subtle striping and color changes over the entire wrap. This wrap would look great in a light solid color and ombre yarns.
The updated version was made with King Cole Riot Chunky. This yarn is a single ply, 70% premium acrylic and 30% wool that offers 145 yards / 134 meters per 100 grams. This yarn was provided to me as a North American Brand Ambassador in Cosmic. Cosmic is one of twenty color options that includes violet, purple, magenta, turquoise, light green and yellow. Find a local stockist to add some Riot Chunky to your stash, as its an easy yarn to crochet.
This is an intermediate design with an easy to remember repeat, and allows for practice of special foundation stitches similar to the Chevron Sunrise Wrap. And this wrap uses less than 3 skeins of yarn, so there is plenty left over of the third skein for other small projects!
