Crochet AirPods Case

SHARE

As part of my birthday surprises I received this year from my husband, I received some Apple AirPods! I had to make a crochet airpod case!

I hopped on Pinterest to see what patterns were available, and only came across items to purchase. They were super cute but not my style. I decided to make my own, so I grabbed some mercerized cotton from my stash, and ran by Michaels to grab a lobster clasp so that it would be even easier to carry them. I was ready to make my own crochet AirPods case.

Many of these wireless earphones are in a smooth case that makes it easy to slide in a pocket or bag, so I figured that a mercerized cotton would hold its shape with little stretch, while being smooth enough to get the case in and out.

After seeing the options to purchase a crochet AirPods case, I did attempt to make a top section… It turned into a #fail quickly, so a few more rounds was more practical, especially with a clip.

You’ll love having a clasp to clip to your bag or a belt loop. This is a quick project to make and gift for any teens, partners and yourself.

Of course, you can go purchase a silicone case, but there’s something special about creating a solution with yarn. 😉
