Terry Ann Hat: Free Crochet Pattern

The Terry Ann Hat is a free crochet hat pattern that was inspired by a friend who spent time wandering through Windy Knitty (Andersonville, Chicago, IL) with me on a summer day. I scored some Berroco Seduce in the clearance basket, which turned into the V-eekender Scarf/ Shawlette!

This is an easy pattern. It’s so easy, I designed this while riding in a tour boat along the Chicago River! Grab your favorite size I hook and some worsted weight yarn to get started!

I used a DK weight yarn for the original hat, but it will work up lovely in a traditional 100% cotton, wool blended yarn, or even a silk blend yarn for extra drape. Be creative with your yarn choice, just remember to check your gauge to ensure a proper fit for an adult.
