The Wrapped in Waves Bonnet + Hat crochet pattern is a two-in-one pattern! A bonnet for adults is not your usual style, but a classic look! Who is ever tired of hats?? NO ONE!!

The Wrapped in Waves Bonnet + Hat crochet pattern is an introduction project to the Wrapped in Waves Cape. Yep, there’s another pattern to come. I figured that a small project would be a good way to learn this stitch, which is intermediate level and requires some concentration and counting to get the hang of the split front post treble stitch. Besides a post stitch, you get to practice a join as go method that you may be new to you. I think this method will open your mind to new ways to avoid seaming. ?

Cathy of MD Creations and Lynette helped test this pattern. Cathy stated that she was going to make a buttoned cowl with these post stitches. I’m excited to see the cowl, and any other creative uses for this post stitch!
